Foam Additive 30ml

During anodic oxidation with sulfuric acid, corrosive and etching acid fumes are produced. This additive forms a foam layer on the surface of the acid bath and has the following properties:

• Very fine, closed foam layer
• Effectively prevents corrosive acid fumes
• Practically suppresses hydrogen explosions
• Impurities (dust, organic material, dirt, etc.) are trapped in the foam and can be easily removed by skimming.
• Promotes a uniform oxidation process
• Extremely efficient – we recommend 0.05ml(!) per liter. With 30ml additive, you can treat 600 liters of anodizing bath.

Important note: This additive is not stable in alkaline media – therefore it is not suitable for etching on a NaOH basis. Please use our Foam Additive Etching for that bath.
